Ministries

Worship:

Our weekly worship service begins at 11:00 each Sunday.  We invite you to come as you are and worship with us in a relaxed setting.  A qualified staffed nursery is provided and parental beepers are available.

Sunday School For All Ages:

10:00 – Sunday School

Small Groups:

Several small groups meet during the week for spiritual growth and fellowship. For more information please feel free to ask the pastor.

Short and Long Term Bible Studies:

Throughout the year we periodically offer various Bible Studies such as Disciple, various book studies and Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University.

Music Ministry:
Adult Choir practices each Sunday evening at 6:30. This group typically presents special programs at Christmas and Easter.

Sunday Evening Concert Series.

Throughout the year we offer various concerts. These concerts range from Gospel Quartets to Classical Piano and Organ Concerts.

Church-Wide Fellowships:

Second Sundays

Since the beginning days of Philadelphia United Methodist Church back in 1879 the church has been known for its hospitality and fellowship. Each second Sunday during the year we eat together with a fabulous covered dish dinner.

Youth  

The UMY (United Methodist Youth) weekly meetings will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sundays.  Included in the meetings will be contemporary praise, spiritual discussions and fellowship.  Willie Smith is the UM Youth Director and is available if you have questions.

Adult:

Busy Bee Quilters: meet each Wednesday from 9:30 – 2:30 with the proceeds going to missions.

Super Seniors:

This active group has either a monthly luncheon or trip. They are an active group that loves to have fun and do a variety of activities.
